To deliver stock to all internal and external customers on time and in full, whilst ensuring stock is moved & transacted correctly, supporting 100% stock accuracy in all warehouses. This vacancy is permanent from day one.
The shifts will be;
Mon – Thurs; 6am – 6pm
The successful candidate would preferably be flexible to swap shifts.
Responsibilities and key aspects of activity:
* Operate the Fork Lift Truck in accordance within the Health and Safety guidelines
* Deliver stock to the production lines, in advance of production demand
* Collect finished stock from the production lines and stock locate back into the Warehouse correctly
* Pick stock & load onto trucks for all outbound freight ensuring only good quality stock is loaded
* Process & offload all inbound freight
* Carry out physical stock counts when required
* Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times
* Use In for or bar code scanning where appropriate when stock is moved on site or offside
* Follow and ad her to all Logistics procedures
* Participate in all Company Stockade
* Carry out any other activity as is reasonably required
Skills and Qualifications Required
* Some experience within a busy logistics, warehouse and transport environment
* Excellent organisational skills
* Must have up to date FLT licence
* Good communication skills
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude
* Good organizational skills
* Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
* Able to work as part of a team or individually
